Prakash K
Founder & CEO

Prakash brings in over 15+ years of experience in crafting and executing product strategy, marketing, engineering and channel/sales engagement. He co-founded a storage networking technology start-up that resulted in a successful IP acquisition. He demonstrated corporate growth in both small and large corporations with his business & technical abilities and vision to explore the "shiny" objects. He brings in valuable exposure from telecommunications, storage networking, enterprise applications, appliances, platforms, solution sales and vertical solutions in HealthCare, Education, Financial/Insurance and Government. Prior to founding DataTap, for a brief period of time, Prakash was responsible for a private equity business unit with world-wide operations. Prakash led the product strategy & marketing and was instrumental in turning around the legacy BU. He helped a start-up secure their initial customer logos for a new product line with his execution as a Director with P&L responsibility.

Prakash has an MBA in Finance, Stragey & Entrepreneurship, a Masters in Computer Science and a BS in Electronics & Communications.

Dr. Ajay Todimala
VP, Research & Development

Dr. Ajay Todimala brings in 12 years of experience in designing fault-tolerant, scalable, survivable and programmable network topologies. He pioneered the concept of survivable multi-commodity flow (SMF) to model the fault-tolerant routing problems under static traffic in various networks such as high-speed capacitated networks, optical WDM networks, GMPLS networks and IP-over-WDM networks. As part of his doctoral thesis, Dr. Todimala authored several publications in Survivable Virtual Topology Design (SVTD). Before joining DataTap Solutions, he was in key research roles at BlueData, Cisco Systems, Neustar, and AT&T Labs. While at AT&T, he contributed to several projects on network trail, failure protection and traffic monitoring. Dr. Todimala completed his PhD in Computer Science from University of Nebraska, Lincoln. He co-authored 7 US patents in areas of network monitoring and network restoration.

Ajay Todimala leads Research & Development at DataTap Solutions and has been a driving force behind its innovative solutions around SDN/NFV.

Christian A. Buhlmann
Advisor

Christian Buhlmann advises DataTapSolutions on Market Development and Corporate Strategy.

Chris spent 18 years in telecommunications monitoring, diagnostics and analysis capacities leading global organizations in the Danaher Communications platform, Tektronix Communications and Tektronix. Prior to Tektronix, Chris served as a US Navy flight officer on the carrier based S-3 Viking aircraft in an active status for 9 years. In 2010 he retired from combined active and reserve duty service as a Navy Captain (O-6). Chris is a graduate from the University of Michigan.

Subi Krishnamurthy

Mr. Subi advises DataTapSolutions on the SDN/NFV strategy as it relates to Telcos and DataCenter markets.

Mr. Subi Krishnamurthy was recently the CTO for DELL Networking. Prior to that he was the Vice President of Technology at Force10 Networks since 2007. Mr. Subi Krishnamurthy worked on leading edge silicon design for design automation at Zycad, 3D Graphics at Rendition (Micron) and delivered multiple network processing chips at Force10 Networks. He led the architecture for 3rd generation high density chassis for Force10 Networks. Mr. Subi Krishnamurthy holds multiple patents in 3d Graphics and Networking, has an M.S in Computer Science from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, and a B.E in Computer Science from Regional Engineering College, Trichy, India (NIT, Trichy).
